Instruction manual

General instructions

  • Before connecting the monolithic quartz heater for the TeplEco apartment to the mains, check the serviceability of the outlet, plug and wiring cord for any insulation violations.
  • The installation, connection to the power grid and periodic maintenance of the monolithic quartz heater MKTEN must be carried out in compliance with all technical conditions specified on the website.
  • The housing of a monolithic quartz heater for a TeplEco home must be grounded with a special conductor with a cross-section of at least the section of the phase conductor. The use of a zero working wire for this purpose is PROHIBITED!
  • IT is FORBIDDEN to check the heating of the radiating surface by touching it with your hand.
  • IT is FORBIDDEN to operate monolithic quartz heaters of TeplEco, having mechanical damage (individual cracks are allowed).
  • IT is FORBIDDEN to operate monolithic quartz heaters for the TeplEco house in damp rooms with an air humidity of more than 95%.
  • When using the monolithic quartz heater TeplEco, it is necessary to exclude the ingress of water on its surface.
  • The distance fr om the surface of the monolithic quartz heater TeplEco to combustible materials should be at least, mm: to wood — 12 to cotton fabric — 28 to cardboard, paper — 25do DVP —25.
  • FORBIDDEN to cover a working monolithic quartz heater TeplEco.
  • All repairs to the automatic heating system must be carried out after the monolithic quartz heater for the TeplEco house is completely disconnected fr om the supply network and the surface temperature of the quartz heater is lowered to 20-30 °C.
  • The TeplEco quartz heater is stored in rooms with a non-explosive environment and an average monthly relative humidity of no more than 90%.
  • The transportation of the TeplEco quartz heater must be carried out in an upright position with protection from precipitation and mechanical damage.

Preparing the quartz heater for operation

Remove the TeplEco quartz heater from its packaging. Make sure that there is no mechanical damage during an external inspection. When delivering the quartz heater to the installation site, make sure that the connectors are clean. The TeplEco electric heater is installed in a room protected from precipitation with a temperature of at least +5 °C and ambient humidity of no more than 95%. Before starting operation, perform an external inspection of the quartz heater (the serviceability of the wire, the integrity of its protective tube, plug, housing and insulating parts).

To install the quartz heater in the working position, it is necessary:

  1. Sel ect the installation location of the wall heater.
    1. The recommended height of the bottom of the appliances fr om the floor is at least 100 mm, the size of the shelf or window sill above the appliance is at least 100 mm, and the distance from the wall is 40-50 mm.
    2. Do not install the heater in the immediate vicinity of an outlet.
  2. Secure the quartz heater to the wall with bolts through the holes (included).
  3. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

Caution! All electrical work should be performed only when the mains wires are de-energized.

Putting the quartz heater into operation!

In order to maintain the long-term operation of the quartz heater and extend its service life, follow the following instructions:

  • before first use, it is recommended to connect the device to the power supply for 40 minutes, then turn it off;
  • after 24 hours, the quartz heater will be ready for full operation.

Operational limitations

Caution! All work on the inspection, connection and maintenance of the quartz heater is carried out only when the supply voltage of the electric heater itself and those devices with which it can be connected electrically is turned off.

PROHIBITED:

  1. Operation of the quartz heater when the supply voltage parameters do not correspond to the parameters specified in the technical specifications.
  2. Operation of the quartz heater when exceeding the climatic parameters for the performance of UHL placement category 4.2 according to GOST 15150 and the parameters specified in the technical specifications.
  3. Turn on the electric heater in the absence of any component or part.
  4. Operation of the quartz heater in case of smoke or odor, typical for overheated insulation.
  5. Operation of a quartz heater near sources that emit thermal energy into the environment.

Safety requirements

Quartz heaters are allowed to be used only in accordance with the purpose specified in the passport.

PROHIBITED:

  1. Operate quartz heaters in open areas.
  2. Ground the housing parts of the quartz heater.
  3. To put or place objects weighing more than 5 kg on heaters.
  4. Operate quartz heaters in positions other than the operating ones.
  5. Operate devices with a broken or curved body.
  6. Plug the power cord into the mains with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
  7. Despite the fact that the TeplEco heater is completely safe, children are not allowed to be unattended in the room wh ere the device is operating. Adults should monitor children and avoid touching the heater.

STORAGE RULES:

Quartz heaters are packaged according to GOST 23216-78, version **c** and must be stored in a dry room at temperatures from -40 °C to +55 ° C and air humidity not exceeding 98%.

Electrical safety and fire safety of quartz heaters are ensured by reinforced electrical insulation.

Safety measures during operation

During operation and maintenance of the quartz heater, it is necessary to comply with the requirements of GOST 12.3.019-80, "Intersectoral rules on labor protection (safety rules) during the operation of electrical installations."

Caution! All work on the inspection, connection, operation and maintenance of the quartz heater is carried out only when the supply voltage of the heater itself and those devices with which it can be connected electrically is turned off.

Recommendations for the operation of quartz heater

The TeplEco quartz heater must be installed directly in a room in need of heating.

The Tepleco quartz heater must not be installed in dusty and flammable rooms or in rooms with flammable substances in the air.

It is not recommended to install a quartz heater in a draft, as this disrupts the temperature control process.

Quartz heater Storage

Quartz heater must be stored in its packaging, in closed warehouses at ambient temperatures from -40 ° C to +55 ° C. The ambient humidity is not more than 95%.

PROHIBITED: store the quartz heater in rooms with explosive or chemically active environments that destroy metals and insulation.

Disposal of quartz heater

The quartz heater does not contain any materials that require special safety measures to be disposed of.
